Spurgeon Exposed: Taught The Heresy That Baptism Saves!

How dare you attack Spurgeon..hypocrite!”—Bible Berean

Bible Berean—how dare you attack us who attack Spurgeon who attacked John MacArthur (PBUH) who attacked Beth Moore. This is the Truth War after all and we must attack all those who attack our Truth as clearly and plainly laid out in the Holy MacArthur Study Bible (PBUI). Now we who are True Bible-Believing Discernmentalists know that Spurgeon was a heretic as per our Clear Teachings. We also know that Spurgeon taught the error that Baptism Saves which is the Catholic heresy of Baptismal Regeneration:

“Please observe that I did not make the text. Perhaps, if I had made it, I should have left out that piece about baptism; but I have had no hand in making the Bible, I am obliged to take God’s Word as I find it, and here I read these words of our Lord Jesus Christ, ‘He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.’ ‘Do not dwell on the baptism,’ says one; ‘leave that out.’ That is what you say, my dear Sir; I cannot see your face, but I do not believe that you are my master. My Master is the Lord who taught holy men to write this Book, and I can only go by the Book; the Book has the baptism in it, so I must stick to the truth as it is in the Book: ‘He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.’” (emp. added).

Now we know that Baptism doesn’t save–why because the Ways of our Master the Pope of all  Truth over the Truth War John MacArthur himself (PBUH) said so! Also James White said so as he corrected Martin Luther the father of Protestantism and  Sola Scriptura 500 years after the Reformation:

“If you feel a communion that replaces the grace of God with sacraments, mediators, and merit, can be properly called “Christian,” then please go ahead and use the phrase. But please understand that if a person shares the perspective of the epistle to the churches of Galatia they will have to hold to a different understanding, and hence may not be as quick to use the term “Christian” of such a person.”—James White (4-6-95, p. 2 and 5-4-95, p. 2)

I pointed out (surely he was aware, as a student of the history of theology) that Martin Luther believed in baptismal regeneration and the Real Presence in the Eucharist. I set out to prove — by means of an elaborate but very solid chain of logical deductive reasoning, using White’s own remarks as a premise — that by White’s own stated reasoning, Luther would not be a Christian.

Remember Baptism now saves you*,
